In the one-day botulinum toxin workshop “Full Face – Master Class” at the AVORYA Academy in Zurich, you will receive in-depth training that combines theory and practice at the highest level.
Theoretical foundations
In the first part of the workshop, you will learn the most important anatomical and pharmacological principles of botulinum toxin. You will deepen your knowledge of its mode of action, injection sites, and safety – including detailed information on potential risks and how to avoid them. Particular emphasis will be placed on analyzing individual facial structures to develop customized treatment plans.
Practical application & off-label use

What treatments is botulinum toxin used for?

This particularly includes the treatment of frown lines, forehead wrinkles and crow's feet around the eyes.
In addition, botulinum toxin is also used to treat excessive sweating. It can temporarily block sweat glands, reducing excessive sweating in the armpits, palms of the hands and soles of the feet.
What are the risks of botulinum toxin injections?
When used correctly, the risks of botulinum toxin injections are low. Possible side effects may include temporary redness, swelling, or slight bruising at the injection site. In rare cases, temporary headaches or asymmetrical results may also occur. However, these risks can be minimized if the treatment is carried out by an experienced doctor.
How long do the results of a botulinum toxin injection last?
The results of a botulinum toxin injection are not permanent. The effects usually last for around three to six months. Afterwards, a top-up treatment may be required to maintain the desired result.
